Tidwell retires from ICC

             

Jim Tidwell, deputy senior vice president of government relations for the International Code Council, announced his retirement as of May 15. Tidwell served one term on the IAWF board of directors before retiring from that position at the end of 2006; he also served on the first ICC board of directors. A 30-year veteran of the Fort Worth (Texas) Fire Department, Tidwell served in every rank including chief. "Public safety and fire prevention were always at the top of Jim's agenda," said Sara Yerkes, senior vice president for the ICC.
