Regardless of job title, the role of wildfire prevention outreach and education is something that each of us within the wildfire community often fills. But are you taking advantage of all the knowledge and tools at your fingertips? Have you thought about sharing your copy of Wildfire magazine with people living in areas at high risk for wildfires? The stories within each issue have information that is important to these communities, allowing their members to better understand why we need them to take personal responsibility for their homes and properties. Be bold — ask them to join our organization so they can receive their own copy, as well as submit their own story. Please know that if your article does not appear right away, it's a matter of fulfilling the magazine's size and space needs.
