True North expands scholarship program

             

True North is now offering three firefighting training scholarships per year after its first scholarship attracted more than 700 applicants.

“We were truly humbled by the response to our first firefighter training scholarship and felt the need to do even more for the community we serve,” says Alyx Fier, True North CEO.

The first scholarship paid for one firefighter to train at the Fire Department Instructors Conference in Indianapolis. True North will now offer three fire departments up to $3,000 each for classroom and hands-on training, which will be brought to each scholarship recipient's fire station. On-Scene Training will facilitate the classroom and hands-on training.
