Woodard announces 'semi-retirement' from University of Alberta

             

Dr. Paul Woodard, professor of forest science at the University of Alberta, has announced he will be going on half-time status until the end of 2010, after which he will not be involved directly in the university's fire program. He has worked at the university for the past 33 years. Woodard served nearly two terms on the IAWF board of directors before retiring from that position. During that time he served as IC for the 2007 "Human Dimensions" conference and the 2008 "The Fires of '88: Yellowstone and Beyond" conference.
