This issue marks the end of 2008, and as always, Wildfire magazine is proud to present the Buyer's Guide, an issue dedicated primarily to showing readers what tools, accessories, gear and products are available from a large spectrum of vendors. Enjoy the guide and keep it handy throughout the coming months as the season winds down and many of us begin to prepare for the next one.
The Editorial Advisory Board is making progress on several fronts, and readers will start to see some new things next year. We are finalizing a revision of the writers' guidelines and developing a defined editorial process and calendar along with evaluating the current content and structure of the magazine. Come next year, we will have a defined process for submitting articles, along with updated guidelines for potential authors.
We are looking at the core content of the magazine and identifying standard content we think would be appropriate to see in every issue. If you have ideas or suggestions, e-mail them to WildfireMagEAB@iawfonline.org.
Exciting things are on the horizon for Wildfire magazine, and you can help. We want your stories, pictures, product reviews and even book reviews. Also, stay on the lookout for the Wildfire magazine section of the IAWF Web site. We will be making changes to it very soon. Visit www.iawfonline.org and follow the links.
As the year comes to a close, enjoy the holidays, time spent with loved-ones, or just some much-needed rest and relaxation. Happy holidays, and see you next year.
