It was just a few centuries ago that the Europeans said, "Go west." With unemployment benefits exhausted, explorers such as Christopher Columbus and Juan Ponce de Leon set out in search of new vacation spots and anti-aging cream for the royals. History is replete with stories of what began as someone's idea — small and insignificant — but once acted on, changed the course of history.
Wildfire Magazine provides the ultimate opportunity for each of you to explore wildfire issues around the globe — without having to set sail. Whatever you are doing, someone else may glean ideas from, or look to adopt, the whole process. So this is a reminder for you to take time to share your story because we have an audience full of explorers. Just remember, it only takes one idea acted upon to make a positive difference, perhaps even around the globe.
