This tool from Council Tool is a combination of a shovel blade and a pick. Used to dig up soil to construct fire lines on wildfires, the combination tool also can be used to control burn operations as well as construct or repair trails. This versatile tool can be used as a shovel/pick, a shovel only or a pick only. The tool also features a sharp cutting edge that can cut light brush. The shovel's locking nut is a die-casting aluminum alloy that allows the tool to be fastened in several working positions. Both the shovel blade and the pick are constructed from 1050 carbon steel. The tool's ash handle is sanded to a smooth finish and coated with lacquer for ease of use. Shipped already assembled, the combination tool folds compactly for convenient transport. www.counciltool.com
