Available from Forestry Suppliers, the Crew Boss pack offers a unique suspension system that allows the pack to ride low on the hips for freer movement. Constructed of 1,000-denier Cordura nylon, the pack features a 1,000-cubic-inch main compartment with an elastic drawstring closure (a zippered accessory pouch closes over the drawstring opening), an interior pouch that can hold a 100-ounce hydro-cell, pouches for four water bottles and four fusees, and a drop-out shelter pouch with a quick-release ripcord that accommodates current-style fire shelters as well as the larger, newly issued shelters.
