Truckbed Tank

             

The Fire*Braker collapsible water tank from Firetak offers initial protection against small grass and brush fires. Holding 150 gallons, the 4- by 5-foot tank fits in the back of a standard pickup truck; when not in use, it can be stored in a portable case. Constructed from 28-ounce woven rip-stop material with a PVC coating and heat-sealed seams for durability and extended service life, the tank has a flotation 4-inch top filler opening and a bolt-in 2-inch outlet to connect to a hard-suction hose. A WICK 80-4H high-performance centrifugal fire pump provides the water volume and pressure needed at the nozzle. The unit includes all connections from the tank to the pump, as well as a 6-foot length of hose with fog/straight-stream nozzle. Longer hoses are available.
